OUR STORY
Ngombe is Swahili for “cow”
The name was derived from the co-founder Aphiwe Dyantyi clan name “Qwathi”, the steadfast Qwathi forefathers who encompassed the Xhosa proverb “funga ungajiki” as they journeyed down the Eastern cape mountains through numerous battles and victories to settle across the umBashee river where they have settled.

“Inkomo zika Mtshutshumbe, ogqaz’indlel’-ebhek’ebuNguni.” The cattle (Ngombe) of Mtshutshumbe who paved the way to Nguniland.
